Misconception is a result of individual believing in a wrong thing. Concept of any subject is not clear and it goes on with the passage of time. Science misconceptions are a result where people believe something, and not matches with the science theories. The misconception picked for learning is about the amount of daylight hours increase in each day of summer. In summer, there are less night hours and more day hours. This has also become a misconception in the modern world. The study discussed causes and reasons of this misconception. This will help the learning of students and clear their vision about the science theories.

Conclusion

The volume of daylight hours, depending upon the latitude and the theory of earth’s axis. Therefore, misconceptions about science have been created long ago, and they should be rectified in order to understand the nature better.
